Until World Food Day 2026
World Food Day is a key annual moment for NFP to convene policymakers, businesses, civil society, knowledge institutions and partners from Low- and Middle-Income Countries around shared food systems challenges. Each year, the event focuses on a pressing theme — from climate and resilience to the role of the private sector and navigating global shifts — creating space for dialogue, reflection and collaboration. Through plenary sessions, interactive formats and partnership building, World Food Day strengthens connections within the Dutch Diamond and beyond, and helps translate collective ambition into concrete action for more sustainable, resilient and equitable food systems.

Why we need World Food Day
Each year in October, the world comes together to mark World Food Day. For NFP and our partners, this day is a call to action for governments, organisations, and individuals to work towards a future where everyone has access to nutritious, affordable food. The Netherlands Food Partnership brings together Dutch and international stakeholders to accelerate food system transformation. World Food Day 2026 focuses on building partnerships that feed the future.
Location
World Food Day 2026 takes place at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague. A unique industrial venue in the heart of the international city of peace and justice.
