World Food Day

World Food Day is a key annual moment for NFP to convene policymakers, businesses, civil society, knowledge institutions and partners from Low- and Middle-Income Countries around shared food systems challenges. Each year, the event focuses on a pressing theme — from climate and resilience to the role of the private sector and navigating global shifts — creating space for dialogue, reflection and collaboration. Through plenary sessions, interactive formats and partnership building, World Food Day strengthens connections within the Dutch Diamond and beyond, and helps translate collective ambition into concrete action for more sustainable, resilient and equitable food systems.

Our previous themes:

  • Partnerships that Feed The Future
  • Navigating a Changing World
  • Recognising the role of the Private Sector in Creating Sustainable Food Systems
  • Sprouting Space for Food and Climate
