NFP at FINAS 2026: Connecting Finance and Food Systems in Nairobi

NFP at FINAS 2026: Connecting Finance and Food Systems in Nairobi From 30 June to 2 July, the FINAS Conference brings together finance professionals in Nairobi to explore sustainable agriculture and food systems. NFP and its partners will host two side events.

On 30 June, NFP and DanChurchAid co-host a session on Funding Food Loss & Waste Management: Finance for Cold Chains, bringing together financial institutions, development partners, investors and private sector actors to explore how innovative financing mechanisms can unlock investment in cold chains, reduce food loss, and generate returns for farmers, communities and the climate.

On 1 July, NFP hosts a session on Financing Food Systems, From Theory to Practice. Earlier 2026, Wageningen University and NFP launched the Food Systems Finance e-course. This session brings alumni and current Kenyan participants together to share their learnings and what it takes to move from insight to practice.
