Global Conscious Food Systems Summit
August 31, 2026 - September 04, 2026
Online & On location
Event by Conscious Food Systems Alliance, UNDP & The Royal Government of Bhutan
Food systems are at the heart of pressing global challenges, from climate change and biodiversity loss to pollution and land degradation. The first Global Conscious Food Systems Summit will explore how consciousness, mindfulness and ethical decision-making can contribute to food systems transformation.
Hosted by the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Conscious Food Systems Alliance (CoFSA), the Summit will bring together leaders from policy, investment and food systems innovation to explore how culture, values and deeper ways of thinking shape the systems we build.
Convened by UNDP, CoFSA brings together food, agriculture and consciousness practitioners working to integrate inner development, mindfulness and ethical practices into food and agriculture systems - supporting transformation from the inside out.
Through real-world models, case studies and immersive experiences, the Summit will work towards a Framework for Conscious Food Systems, rooted in a shared vision, guiding principles and key lessons, alongside recommendations to guide collective action.
