A special alumni blog magazine presenting impact stories from eight e-course alumni, and a welcome note from Ivo Demmers.
In this special edition, ‘Where Are They Now?’, we reconnect with eight e-course alumni from six countries who previously contributed to blog series accompanying the course. We invited them to share how their journeys have unfolded since then: what has changed in their thinking, how they have applied their learning, and where food systems thinking has taken them.
Their stories reveal different kinds of change: from rethinking agricultural research and irrigation to engaging chefs and culinary schools in shaping food choices; from redefining impact beyond financial returns to exploring how finance can support farmers, agribusinesses and landscape restoration. Others reflect on how food systems thinking has influenced their research, teaching and understanding of resilience.
