Article header image

The BRIDGE+ programme, an extension of the BRIDGE initiative, is financed by EKN Ethiopia and executed by a consortium led by SNV, with Agriterra and Wageningen University & Research as partners. The original BRIDGE programme has significantly impacted Ethiopia's dairy value chain, contributing via a broad array of interventions to a sector which is showing signs of take-off. BRIDGE+ aims to nurture, guide, and support this take-off, benefiting 350,000 smallholder farmers and 4 million consumers, including 1 million school children.

The BRIDGE+ program, building on the success of the BRIDGE initiative, has secured funding from EKN Ethiopia and will continue its work under the leadership of a consortium led by SNV. Agriterra and Wageningen University & Research remain key partners for this extended effort.

The extended program will directly benefit 350,000 smallholder farmers and improve the lives of 4 million consumers, with a specific focus on reaching 1 million school children.
