Committee on World Food Security (CFS 54)

Established in 1974 and reformed in 2009, the CFS is the foremost inclusive international and intergovernmental platform addressing food security and nutrition, bringing together governments, UN agencies, civil society, Indigenous Peoples, research institutions, financial organizations, philanthropic foundations, and the private sector. Through its multi-stakeholder approach, CFS develops and endorses policy recommendations and guidance on a wide range of food security and nutrition issues.
