African poultry businesses visiting VIV Utrecht / Victam expo

On the occasion of VIV expo in the Netherlands, NABC/DAPP hosted an incoming Poultry Trade Mission with 15 African professionals. As part of the programme, NABC hosted an interactive seminar on the 3rd of June, from 10:30-12:00, exploring how African and European partners can collaborate to build resilient, sustainable poultry value chains across Africa. With a focus on circularity, feed innovation, quality assurance, and market access, the session will bring together African poultry delegates and Dutch/European partners to share best practices, discuss investment opportunities, and co-create solutions for a more sustainable future. Speakers will highlight successful case studies, address challenges in feed production, quality standards, and market integration, and foster dialogue on how partnerships can drive impactful change in the African poultry sector. During this session Peace Quadt, presented her first findings on the business cases of high quality cassave peels, organic fertilizer from poultry manure and BSF products.
