CGIAR Food & Agriculture Pavilion @COP30

On location
Event by CGIAR, in collaboration with FAO
The UNFCCC 30th Conference of the Parties will be held from November 10 to 21, 2025, in Belem, Brazil.
The thirtieth Conference of Parties (COP30) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) builds on progress of previous COPs to turn the ambitions of the Paris Agreement into reality. Hosted by Brazil in the Amazonian city of Belém, the topics of adaptation to climate change and climate finance will be high on the agenda, along with a strong emphasis on climate justice and the participation of Indigenous peoples and local communities.
COP30 Belém marks a decisive shift from 'agreements to action'. With countries submitting new NDCs by September 2025, and the Global Stocktake (GST) highlighting the urgency of transforming food systems, COP30 is a unique opportunity to inspire and lead partnerships for science and innovation which can underpin climate‑resilient agriculture and nature-positive food systems.
COP30 is the turning point to mainstream food systems into climate action. CGIAR scientists and their global partners are seizing the moment to provide the science, partnerships, and innovations that make global adaptation and mitigation targets achievable, inclusive, and ready for finance.
