On Friday March 15, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) sent a new policy letter to the Dutch House of Representatives on 15 March (in Dutch). In this letter the Ministry sets out its commitment to fostering sustainable food systems on a global scale, focusing on three interrelated goals: 1) ensuring the long-term viability of agriculture, fisheries, and horticulture; 2) promoting global food security and addressing climate objectives; and 3) conserving and restoring biodiversity worldwide, with emphasis placed on knowledge and innovation, international corporate social responsibility (IMVO), and inclusive participation

You are invited to join us to share your ideas on the implementation of the policy. Your input is vital as we try to answer the question of "How can we strategically and practically shape the implementation of the policy to advance the sustainability of food systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), leveraging inclusivity as key driver?” During the discussion we will explore how inclusivity can be put into practice across the three themes and explore challenges and opportunities for future implementation to strengthen the policy implementation with your expertise.

Don’t miss this opportunity, register here.

Feel free to share this invitation with any relevant food practitioners or stakeholders!

During the Networking Dialogue, we discussed among others about the National Pathways to Sustainable Food Systems following the UN Food Systems Summit in 2021. In the session, it was mentioned that The Netherlands did not develop National Pathways for Food Systems Transformation. Can anybody tell me why this wasn't developed?
