You may have joined NFP in testing earlier protoytpes of this game at the AFS Forum in Dakar or World Food Day in the Hague. The feedback from the testing phase helped us to improve the learning dynamics and finetune the speed and length of the game. Wanna play? From prototype to final version, what stayed is the intention of the game: meaningful conversation and empathy for formal and informal actors in the food economy. The game allows for 2 players or 2 pairs of players, assuming the roles of informal or formal actor. Rather than rolling the dice, your turn starts with drawing a movement card, which allows to consider several options. Options include investments in businesses, scenario cards (how to deal with spoiled food) and government cards (taxes, subsidies, food safety).
