On May 22, the International Day for Biological Diversity will take place. This year with the theme: “Harmony with nature and sustainable development”. For this day, this space is open to all partners in the NFP Biodiversity & Food Systems Partnership to share what they doing to build bridges between biodiversity and food systems.

Program: "Conservation for what and for who? Exploring the challenges between conservation and agrarian justice"!
In this event, researchers and agrarian social movements will discuss different visions, policies and practices on conservation, agriculture and food systems. Together with the panelists and the audience, they will explore avenues to move beyond dichotomous representations of agriculture versus conservation through e.g. agro-ecological approaches that support biodiversity conservation, local livelihoods, and food security
