Netherlands Food Partnership is pleased to invite you to the Roundtable Connecting Interests: Linking Local Needs with Dutch Goals. This event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature.
Following our online session on April 16th (find the report here), this session aims to explore how Dutch policy on food and nutrition security in low- and middle income countries can strategically align with Dutch interests in trade and security & stability. We invite you to bring your insights and practical experiences to the table. The starting point will be to look at interventions and needs in Food and Nutrition Security per country. Therefore we ask your country preference in the registration form above.
Together, we’ll explore:
Trade-offs and opportunities within these nexuses
Effective interventions and good 'Diamond' practices
Priority recommendations for the Dutch Multi-Annual Country Strategies 2026–2029 and overall food security policy
Opportunities for long-term collaboration and policy coherence
Please register by May 31, 2025 so we can plan the set-up of the session accordingly. Spaces are limited so register soon!
The event will be followed by networking drinks.
