For the eighth installment of Delta Talks, the CGIAR Initiative on Asian Mega-Deltas (AMD) and Wageningen University & Research (WUR) presented a webinar focusing on inclusive water governance in Bangladesh.

Dr. Indu Sharma, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the International Water Management Institute, delivered a presentation focusing on the entire agri-food system governance, distinguishing policy and practice. In her presentation, she discussed the results of their review of relevant policies, with a particular focus on gender and social inclusion. Dr. Sharma also shared the findings of their literature review, uncovering three key challenges to inclusive water governance.

Additionally, Dr. M Mokhlesur Rahman, Executive Director of the Center for Natural Resource Studies, provided valuable insights into the real challenges of achieving inclusive water governance.

Furthermore, Ms. Shanta Soheli Moyna, Program Coordinator at Oxfam in Bangladesh, shared the approaches of their Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) project in addressing water governance issues through changes in policy and practice.
