Netherlands Food Partnership (NFP) is hosting the 8th edition of the NFP WORLD FOOD DAY event. A day where over 500 people within the food systems community connect, exchange and move forward together.

“Partnerships that Feed the Future,” is the core of this year’s edition, leading to food security, healthy diets, resilient ecosystems and sustainable economies. It also spotlights what we aim to achieve with World Food Day 2026: new and stronger partnerships.

NFP World Food Day 2026 blends the depth of a conference with the energy of a festival, creating a one-day catalyst for partnerships that drive real change. Together with its partners, NFP hosts a diverse programme of interactive parallel sessions at the heart of the event. Through expert insights, live discussions and creative formats, participants explore food systems transformation while actively connecting, collaborating and taking action.

The day also offers ample networking opportunities to build valuable (new) partnerships that can lead to meaningful impact.

In true NFP fashion, we co-create the programme with partners. We invite you to contribute to World Food Day 2026 through formats such as a side session, interactive booth, best practice showcase, living lab, World Café, or storytelling circle.

There are many ways to bring your ideas to life and engage with our audience.

Please submit your proposal via the form below by Thursday, 28 May 2026. Selected contributors will receive further details to develop their session.
