CGIAR Science Week (New Dates)

The event comes at a crucial moment as climate change continues to disrupt global food, land, and water systems, affecting the lives and livelihoods of farmers and consumers worldwide.

CGIAR Science Week 2025 aims to bring together scientists, policymakers, industry experts, and advocates from around the globe to address these pressing challenges and emphasize the urgent need for sustainable solutions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore CGIAR’s groundbreaking science and innovations in the exhibition area, showcasing technologies that have transformed farmers’ lives. Participants can also engage in field visits to CGIAR and partner facilities to see these innovations in action. Additionally, the event will mark the launch of CGIAR’s 2025-2030 research programs.

As originally planned, CGIAR Science Week 2025 will be co-hosted by the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO).

CGIAR Science Week 2024 was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The new dates provide the organizing teams with additional time to consider all factors and ensure that CGIAR Science Week 2025 is a highly successful and impactful event.
